I wrote this poem for my Airman, my husband who even though he is on the
other side of the world, he is, as always in my heart.

Tonight, I'll slip into our bed--all alone.
I'll pray to our Lord above that you're safe and well.
Tonight, I'll cry, because I don't know what else to do when I miss you this
Tonight, my heart will ache, and I'll long for your arms around me.
Tonight, I'll fall asleep and dream of you.
I'll dream of all the good times we've spent together, I'll dream of the day we
became husband and wife.
I'll dream of the day you come home to me, and of the night I'll fall asleep in
yours arms once again.
Tomorrow morning, I'll wake up, all alone, missing you.
I'll want to cry, but a smile will come to my face when I think of you. A tear
of joy will come to my eyes when I think that I am one day closer to the day
when you're home again where you belong.
