It's only 30 days

 "It's only 30 days"

Woke up this morning
 Trying to breathe
Only 3 and a half hours
 Until you must leave

I keep telling myself
 Not to be sad
 It's only 30 days
 And that's not that bad

As I get out of bed
 And watch you get ready
I think of all you'll miss
 And pray I remain steady

I put my hand on my stomach
And I feel our son thrive
 Only a few more weeks
 And this gift will arrive

The life of an ARMY wife
 Can sometimes be trying
 The highs and the lows
 The laughter and crying

We are proud of our soldiers
 We stand tall and true
 And when we get cut
We bleed red, white, and blue

We are your backbone
 Your strength and support
 With smiles on our faces
As me move Fort to Fort

30 days isn't bad
 Not a long time apart
 Everything will be fine
Once I mend my broken heart
